Take breaks, its heavy.

This will probably be alot of text, but you should read it all if you havn't prepared alot on the beta yourself. There is an extreme amount of prep needed if you want to guarantee crafted epics / good followers.
A sum-up of how highmaul raiding prep is: Play a shitton the first few days, then after that login daily for 1 daily quest + check garrison stuff (and weekly coin quest). You also need to gear from 5mans, but its no rush at all.

WORLD BOSSES ARE NOT ACTIVE UNTIL HIGHMAUL OPENS (Confirmed by devs)

If anyone got some good info on INVASION quests, feel free to contribute! If anything seems wrong or you got something else to contribute with, just post. Don't post random shit in this thread.

The guide includes

- Leveling
- Garrison Buildings & Professions
- Garrison Resources
- Garrison Followers
- Gearing
- Things to do pre-highmaul/Daily

Leveling

There is a leveling elixir (lasts for 1 hour - 20% increase from mobs and quests) that you can buy at 91 at your garrison innkeeper. It costs 100 resources though (might not sound like alot, but you really shouldnt buy 5 of these on your main). At first we kinda scrapped it completly, but getting 1 might be worth it (get ahead of the pack etc).
For your 93 skinning chars you should always buy this at 91, as you will have extra resources left over after getting to 93 and building garrison level 2 + 2 profs buildings and the barn.
http://www.wowhead.com/item=120182/e...rning#comments
This may also allow you to level a 93 barn char to 100 with rested + XP pot rather quickly!

Level in a group of 2-5 people, it is simply better.

Get 25 daily quests that doesn't take too long to deliver. Isle of thunder / Shado-pan garrison then port/HS to SW and get your ass to draenor.
You should also have as many dailies prepared on any alts you plan to level. Time is everything the first few days!
If the zones are so swamped that you can't level at all, go do dungeons. If it is fine (and it should be, unless you are slow. Rumour has it the first zone is phased anyway, max 50 ppl) just get through the intital zone and into shadowmoon valley as soon as possible. Quest here (and setup your garrison, this will be done automatically through the quests you do) until 92, then go to your garrison, pickup the quest for gorgrond and fly up there. Your fly dude will have the fly path automatically after you get the quest.
You may wanna skip any huge RP quests in every zone, however most of them will grant you a follower that you may need (no biggie having to go back and do it later though, there are more important things to focus on the first day). I am not gonna list what quests are bad and good, the main thing is to jump to Gorgrond as soon as you hit 92. After that you can really just finish every zone and probably stay ahead of the pack.
On the map you will be able to see BONUS OBJECTIVES (Marked as two swords). Go to the area, you will get a "zone quest" and simply complete it and it will turn it automatically. Insane XP. Do these!

Somewhere between 93 and 95 (or any time before you hit 100 really), you should "Garrison hearthstone" back to your garrison. Upgrade it to level 2 (requires 93) and build your 2 main profession buildings + a barn. The reason for this is that they will be complete and ready for use once you hit 100.
Find a time in your questing where you are far away from your quest deliveries, and garrison HS -> HS back isnt too much of a time waste.
You can also unlock the mine at 93, the herbalisn hut at like 96. But it probably isn't worth they take a little bit of time to unlock (quests).

**Picking the best quest hub**
In every zone after shadowmoon valley, you will be able to pick a quest hub (2 options every time) once per zone. Some of them aren't as important, but when you reach spires -> You need to pick the brewery (if you hover over the buildings, it should say what they give as a bonus). This building gives you 20% extra XP in the zone!
In nagrand you should pick the building that grants you a talbuk mount. You can STAY MOUNTED in combat and it will save you quite some time.
Gorgrond/Talador doesn't seem to matter all too much.

**Things to avoid/Things to do while leveling**
In shadowmoon valley you will get 2 quests based on your prof. They will give you 700 in X prof and plans for your building. You do NOT need to do these quests. The plans for your prof building will be available at 93 from the vendor (costs gold) and once the building is built, you can buy 700 recipe from the vendor in that building. Most of these quests will simply slow your group down. The point of shadowmoon valley is to LEAVE SHADOWMOON VALLEY!

In gorgrond there are some(like 6-10 different ones) level 93 elites walking around (600k+) which will drop a quest, that you simply pickup and deliver at the hut. There are also some other big elites that drop nothing. Not gonna list which ones drop what, but they die in like 20 sec with a party anyway.

If you see rarespawns (they will be popping up constantly on your minimap), it will very often be worth killing them. The XP is crap, but they drop garrison recources almost 100%. Re-killing a rare will NOT grant any resources (might be on a weekly reset or something, but don't camp any rares while leveling). You shouldn't go out of your way to kill them, especially at low level as it will just slow you down and make the herd of dribbling mongs catch up to you. You don't want to be in the herd of dribbling mongs.

There are also a million treasures spread out throughout Draenor. Most of them seem "personal", meaning your whole group can loot them. They will grant resources, items & toys. You could pick some of these up while leveling, but like with the rares -> do NOT make it a priority.
If you complete a zone you can buy a map of all the treasures (they will pop up on your world map, and dissapear once looted). Betaque mapped out which ones give resources/items etc. There will be more about this in the Garrison Resource section, you might want to plan a few of the bigger treasures into your leveling route. Reasong for mentioning this is that you will need some extra resources to build what you want to build at lvl 100. There is nothing wrong with going treasure hunting at 100, but you can easily pickup around 500 resources from rares/treasures with only losing maybe 5 minutes total while leveling.

After you ding 100 you want to setup your garrison (All of this will be explained below). Possibly farm some resources (if you need for the buildings in the plan below). You wanna grab the followers required for your professions (again, this will be explained below), put them in your buildings. Start your barn workorders and possibly get a few other followers to start some missions.

Then start leveling as many alts as possible to level 93. This is to create a barn and add workorders to it. There is an account-wide achievement you need to unlock to upgrade your barn to level 3. Barn level 3 gives you access to trapping the mobs who gives us Savage blood. The hardest material to obtain, needed for all 655 or 665 items (upgraded from 640, which require nothing but some X shitty mat + alot of the daily X profession material).

The achievement is based off WORK ORDERS STARTED -> so the more chars you do this on, the faster you will unlock barn level 3 and savage blood!

Example:
Luun to 100 (Setup garrison etc) - Make 7(Potentially 14 if your barn is lvl 2) workorders on the barn.
Luum to 93. Setup garrison with barn + 2 profession buildings. These buildings will not be ready for 1 hour -> start leveling next.
Huunibear to 93. Setup garrison with same as above. Log Luum and get 7 work orders in the barn.
Luuns to 93. Setup garrison with same as above. Log Huunibear and get 7 work orders in the barn.
Dougdoug to 93. Setup garrison with same as above. Log Luuns and get 7 work orders in the barn.
Do whatever until Dougdoug's barn is ready, then put 7 work orders in.

After this just make sure you keep the work orders rolling (it doesn't take long to trap 7 animals. You can also trap more than 7 and just keep the extra in your bag for later use). Level Luum + Huunibear to 100 to prepare them for a level 3 barn.
Level 2 barn (need to like 96 or 98+ for it) can have 14 work orders.

So with all this non-sense you will be able to unlock the barn around tuesday/wednesday and start farming savage blood on 3 chars like a crazy motherfucker.

Further explanation below on Savage blood + the barn!

Garrison Buildings & Professions

You will need several chars of X prof to get your items by the time highmaul is launched. There was a different post (or several even) with info on this.
If you want for example 2 blacksmithing items + 1 inscription. Having 2-3 blacksmithers / 1-2 inscription dudes should be enough. Check the other post for more info.

On most buildings you will get some sort of quest to understand how the building works or how work orders work in general. Simply do the quests.
We didn't really try out the fishing hut much, but it doesn't seem to grant much. Feel free to do it if you like fishing. (Same with the faggot pet thing).

Picture of a level 3 garrison (Do note this has an inn instead of a barn, but we will obv make a barn).

Picture of complete / active work orders. In progress / finished missions (no missions in progress at this point) and available missions in a different tab. This is the main interface for your garrison.

You will be introduced to your garrison at 90 (As soon as you enter shadowmoon).
After you do a few quest you will be told to put a Barracks in your large plot.
You will also get to do a few quests regarding missions/followers, like an introduction.
The small plot you have at level 1 will not be used until you hit 93 or if you decide to do the profession quests (you really shouldn't bother).

After 93 you should find a decent time to garrison hearthstone and upgrade your garrison to level 2. You will have resources required to do this, dw!
Upgrade to level 2.
Build X profession building
Build Y profession building
Build the barn
Hearthstone back to whatever quest location you were at and continue to 100 before you go back to the garrison. (remember to set your HS. If you are grouped with halby you should probably have a warlock).

Once you are level 100 you should more or less instantly go to your beloved garrison and build/unlock/upgrade these buildings:

There is no specific order on this, but you should aim to get them all done a few hours after you ding 100. Meaning go get more resources if you need to!
Garrison level 3 (This costs alot of resources, you might have to farm some if you didn't kill enough rares/collected enough treasure).
X profession building to level 2.
Y profession building to level 2.
Build a salvage yard in the last small plot. Upgrade to level 2 as quick as you can.
Unlock your mine. Upgrade to level 2 as quick as you can.
Unlock your herb-hut. Upgrade to level 2 as quick as you can.
Build a trading post.
Build a dwarven bunker. This building has no SUPER RUSH, so if you are very far behind on resources, it might be smart to start leveling the alts for the BIG-BARN-FUN. Don't wanna delay that for several hours.

Barn & Savage Blood

As soon as you unlock Barn level 3 (Start 125 workorders in the barn on your account. START! not finish). Build a level 3 barn on any char you can (preferably 3+) and start hunting big fat beasts.
Make sure to have a follower in your barn (There is a 96 one from the quest line in spires that you will get automatically).

The elite beasts might be tough for some specs/chars with low gear (might wanna run a few heroics by this time, should be np as you won't unlock the barn before tuesday or so if you are quick). You could easily team up with someone else and just share the traps.
Simply dps the animal down to like 35% or 30% or whatever it is, then drag it over the trap.
You could just facetank it and drop the trap at like 70% or so, and it will simply be trapped once its health is low enough.

Hippo/Kodo/Wolf seems to be the only mobs that will give Savage Blood (The barn itself will list it, so just check to be sure). They will also give feast = hippo, fur/cloth from the others. They are all located in western Nagrand.
Where: http://imgur.com/Wn3ksjJ,5goe83S,NH1dEuZ#0
^Has 3 different locations. They are more spread than just those areas of course, but as you can see: Western Nagrand.

We need the Savage blood to craft our 655 upgrade item and our 665 upgrade item. All of this should be BoE, but it takes such insane effort to get, that you kinda have to rely on yourself mostly. We need 90 (15 per upgrade = 30 per item).

They have a fairly shitty droprate too, so the more chars you do this on the better. Remember your follower on all chars!

Primal Spirit

One of the more simple ways to obtain Savage blood is to buy them with Pirmal spirit.
As they recently got introduced we can't say 100% where they come from, but we know they come from mining carts (big chance), mining nodes (small), your herb hut (small). All in your garrison. You may also be able to loot them from herbing/mining in the world, not sure.

The vendor is located outside your main building

1 Savage Blood costs 50 Primal Spirit, and you seem to be able to get around 10-30 every day from your mine/herb things. So around 1 Blood every 2-4 days seems reasonable. Having more chars at level 100 with level 2 mine/herb hut will help alot, especially since Savage blood seems to have a decently low drop rate (like 1 in 5? Aka 1 blood per day, per char.)

While you are out gathering resources, you should also gather the followers you need for your 2 profession buildings, for your mine and for your herbalism hut. You can easily check what professions a follower has by looking at his UI.

As you can see this guy will boost mining if you put him in the mine. In short you get more "stuff". You should have a follower in the mine, the herb hut, the 2 profession buildings and the barn (skinning).

A work order

http://wod.wowhead.com/guide=2533

This guide is extremly helpful regarding anything related to followers etc. You should really take a look. Figure out where your tailoring (for example) dude is located, so if you for whatever reason don't get him on your way to 100, you can quickly go get him and put him to work.
The follower in your building with simply boost production/"stuff" obtained. You should get one asap!
The higher level your follower is, the bigger chance you have of procing an extra "daily material"!
You won't really have time to level up (for example) the only blacksmithing follower, who is lvl 92, up to like 95+ before you start using him. But if you proc blacksmithing on a higher level follower, it might be worth using him instead (even though he will be better for your missions).
With no follower you get 6 "daily mats" every day from work orders. With a follower you can get upto 12. Huge difference! "Proc blacksmithing" will be explained in the follower section. In short: When a follower goes from green quality -> blue or blue -> epic: He gets random new abilties.

At every building with work orders (not every building has the option, for example the salvage yard has no work orders) you should do them asap and keep them "on cooldown". You don't need 7/7 (level 1) or 14/14 (level 2) going at all times, just make sure they are always working on something. They do 1 workorder every 4 hours, so thats 6 in 1 day.
The mine and the herb workorders are started by mats you obtain from actually mining/herbing in your garrison, so it will be a bit up and down on how many you can start a day.
For profession it requires simple mats (cloth, ore etc) and should be available on the AH (or from your mine (ore), barn (cloth, fur) etc) on day 1.

All of this should be started before you level your 2nd char (All of this should take 1-3 hours depending on how many followers you need to gather/how many resources).

After all of this is done and all of your barns have been built / alts have been leveled, you should get your dwarven bunker to level 2 and save up enough mats for barn level 3, which should be upgraded as soon as you get the achievement required.

Upgrade salvage yard to level 3 whenever you get the achievement to unlock it (takes a while).
Dwarven bunker can be upgraded to level 3 if you want 1 free coin every week (for raid drops). It's simply free, and doesn't increase your total to 4/week.
Upgrading your prof buildings to level 3 doesn't do very much, and can't be done before you have completed 250 work orders. It will simply grant you the option to put in 21 work orders at a time, instead of 14 (level 2) or 7 (level 1). Means you have to visit the building a bit less, so no big prio and it won't be available at the start anyway.

The other buildings has some benefits too, but i'm not gonna make a long list of what they are. None of them will perform better than these for our intentions.

If you want to build a profession building, WITHOUT having that exact profession, you will get access to an NPC that can make stuff for you. You will get no "daily cd" for an extra 5ish mats, but it can still be useful on some alts.
You can make 640 crafts like this. Not the 655 "upgrade item" or the 665 "upgrade item", they require you to actually have the profession and buy the recipe from a vendor in the building. The cost of these recipes are from another daily cd spell you learn once you get draenor X profession learnt.
You do however need the building to be level 3 to make these 640 items, but they will be before highmaul is out if you wanna do this. Could be done on a level 93 char without any profs for example.

You should stack up on some MoP mats to level your prof to around 616 (seems to be the highest you can get). The higher level your prof is, the more mats you will recieve from your "Daily material craft"(which obv resets daily). The only way to level up X profession is to use this very same material though, which is also used for crafting the epics etc. So you don't wanna spend any of them on leveling your prof at all(might be mathematically a bonus though, but not from my experience). You will get some levels from saved up mats + doing the 2 daily crafts(2 levels a day or so).
I found the spirit of war + x mat for y prof to be the easiest way. (Accelerated X shit).

In short: There is no point leveling your draenor profession to a high level. It is NOT needed to craft anything. It simply boosts your daily material craft. So over time it would be worth it, but since we need our crafts in 3-4 weeks, we can't afford it.

After unlocking certain plans, you can buy them from the NPC next to your "table" inside your main building.
Building a building takes 1 hour. When it is complete you need to go to your garrison and "click on it" to finish it, then you can start using it for different things.

The trading post lets you trade X material for garrison resources, very helpful at the start. If you upgrade it you can access an AH (after doing a quest), place more workorders at a time and unlock 1 extra reputation.

The salvage yard + dwarven bunker is used for creating armor and weapons for your followers, which will make them better and you can do missions with better rewards. More detailed in the follower section. Do note the dwarven bunker doesn't get the option to handle work orders before level 2, thats why it isnt that important to rush it. It is quite expensive etc. But you should make sure you get it asap after you are done with all your barns etc.

Garrison Resources

Garrison Resources are required to build different garrison buildings, start missions (between 5-20 usually) and work orders at the dwarven bunker.
They are obtained from a daily "cache" at your garrison, outside your main building (updates like every 30min or so with a certain amount of resources. It has a cap, so make to collect it at least every other day. But mostly you will simply click on it every time you visit your garrison).
They are obtained from quest rewards (This is why questing>dungeons by far).
They are obtained from killing rares (However it only seems to work once per rare).
They are obtained from treasures around the world (Lootable once per char).
They are obtained from your Trading post / lumber mill. The lumber mill requires more work than the trading post, hence we build the trading post!
Some garrison mission will have them as a reward.

We don't have a set number you need for all the buildings we plan to build. You can simply build what you can afford when you ding 100, then run around and gather the rest stragiht after. Build buildings that can handle work orders first.
Might edit in a number if someone works it out.

If someone has some maps for rarespawns of draenor, it might be worth adding. But you can really just run around and look on your minimap. Rares you have killed once before won't pop either, so no troll-rares!

These are not 100% confirmed, but we assume they are the same for everyone looting them so.
Green = Resources
Red = Non resource treasure
Yellow = Bit complicated to reach
Nagrand has alot of treasures that you have to get to by glider. There are goblins in the mountains with a glider for you, just look for the purple circles/lighter yellow and from there flags will guide you to the goblins.

The talador map is missing a green circle for the Draenei weapon racks (100 resources). It is located at the flight path to the right of auchindoun. Look for it among the weapon racks.

It obviously is a map of spires, even though it says shadowmoon at the top.

Shadowmoon valley also has reasures, we just couldn't be arsed doing that one.

Garrison Followers

http://wod.wowhead.com/guide=2533

The point of bothering with these guys is to boost your work orders (place them in a building) and send them on missions for gear!
The work order boost stuff has been explained above, simply grab the follower for your prof, and place him in the prof building (or mine, barn etc) when it is level 2 or higher.

There are some introduction to this at 91 (you have to do these quests, pretty sure) and it is fairly easily to understand in general.
The whole reason to do this is the chance to get free epics from simply playing a minigame a few times a day.

Followers can be GREEN, BLUE, or EPIC. They all have a set "rarity" when you hire them, but you can get lucky and proc a blue or an epic follower. The only different between these 3 rarities is the amount of abilties and traits the follower is going to have.
After a follower reaching level 100, he can level from green to blue and from blue to epic.

Follower interface -> Everything should be explained below. Go back to this picture later

All followers start between lvl 90 - 100, you should try to get 95+ ones that you are gonna focus on gearing, it simply saves some time. There are some easy to get lvl 100 blue and epic ones, get these!
If you proc any epic followers that are 95+, it might be a good idea to level these up aswell. Leveling from green to epic does take some time. Even if you are unlucky and don't get any epic followers from procs, you can still gather a few blue/epic 100 ones + any 97/98+ green/blue followers and just level them up.
Epic or blue followers has no bigger chance of sucess than a green follower. They just simply have more abilties (that can counter the mobs ability).

Example: Mob needs to be interupted.
Green follower has interupt
Blue follower has shield wall
Epic follower has shield wall & sprint
Assuming they are all the same level, the green follower will have a higher chance for this mission.

There are a TON of different abilties your followers can have, but you shouldn't worry about their names etc. Worry about what they COUNTER. There are 9 different mob abilties, you should build your team around countering all of these. (For example, both taunt and dark command counters "Wild aggression")

These are the 9 things you have to counter:

Danger Zones
Deadly Minions
Group Damage
Magic Debuff
Massive Strike
Minion Swarms
Powerful Spell
Timed Battle
Wild Aggression

A green follower has 1 ability (means he can counter 1)
A blue follower has 1 ability (means he can counter 1)
An epic follower has 2 abilties (means he can counter 2)

If you are facing several mobs, and they have the same spell (say 3 mobs with wild aggression), you will need 3 different followers that counters wild aggression to cover them all. Obviously you don't need to counter every spell in every mission to win, but if you counter EVERY SPELL and you have the right level on your followers you will have 100% chance to win.

Followers also have traits. These are mini-buffs/abilties that don't really do much, but you could get lucky and proc some nice things. A follower could have a trait that makes him stronger if he is partied with a human or if he is facing an ogre etc. Tons of different traits, you shouldn't worry too much about them. However they do count towards your % chance to win, so take them into consideration when choosing which followers to send on what mission.
Followers can have a trait that increases work order value if placed at X profession(mine, barn etc aswell) building. There are at least 1 for every profession by default, but you can also proc these traits on other followers.

Green follower has 1 trait
Blue follower has 2 traits
Epic follower has 3 traits

When a follower goes from green to blue, he gains 1 RANDOM trait.
When a follower goes from blue to epic, he gains 1 RANDOM trait and 1 RANDOM ability.

(Example) Meaning if a normally green follower you get at level 97 procs into Epic when you hire him, he will get 2 random traits and 1 random ability (+ 1 trait and 1 ability that was set beforehand). This is why its often better to focus your attention on followers that are already epic, because you know what abilties and traits they have. Why does it matter? On average you would rather have a wide-spread amount of counters on your best followers, compared to your best followers having the same counters, severly limiting your chances on the average mission.

There is always going to be some RNG involved, as even with epic followers you hire, they get 1 random ability and 1-3 random traits (depends on the follower) when they get hired. There is no "perfect way" to do this, you simply have to see what you get and adapt.

This is a picture of available missions.

Missions simply pop up throughout the day, and last for a certain amount of time. That means a mission can dissapear, so do the ones you wanna do asap!

The reward from missions can vary alot, but what you want is:
Extra XP (very helpful while lvling, especially when trying to get a lvl 100 follower to epic)
Armor/Weapon upgrades for your followers (explained below)
Garrison resources (if you need it)
Items for your char
"Reroll tome" - rerolls the abilties of a follower, can be helpful if you got several 100 epic followers with the same abilties.

When a follower is level 100, he can start gaining item level. You can upgrade armor + weapon, and the average of that is your item level.

This is why you build the dwarven bunker(lvl 2) + salvage yard(lvl 2, lvl 3 when unlocked).
EVERY mission you do has a chance of giving you a "crate". Take this to the salvage yard and open it, you get items/random shit + follower armor/weapons. This also means you should try and keep as many followers active as possible. Even send out your shitty lvl 93 dude on some 90-95ish mission, more crates = more armor/weapons!
The dwarven bunker produces a crate that has a chance to include weapons/armor. Each work order costs 20 resources. This is obviously rather expensive at the start, so you might have to farm some extra treasures etc, to keep up with the cost of this + building other stuff + mission cost (they cost 5-20 resources each).
The last building that affects missions is the barracks, it simply adds "patrol" missions. Short exlanation is that it simply adds more missions to do. Don't distroy this building!

This is why we are doing this:

Level 90-100 "normal" missions give rather crappy rewards etc.
Level 100 615 ilvl missions give 630 gear / other things
Level 100 630 ilvl missions give 645 epic gear / other things
Level 100 645 ilvl missions give 655+ epic gear / other things

The lvl 100 645 ilvl mission give reward based on "what you are raiding", so at the start it will be normal ilvl (655), then once you are offically raiding X, it will be 1 tier above X. So I guess we are technically starting at LFR level.

You can get items that upgrade weapon/armor ilvl by 3 / 6 / 9
You can get items that give a follower 615 / 630 / 645 armor or weapon
Max ilvl is 655 atm.
Don't waste these until you know which follower you want them on!

Fairly relevant:

When you choose a mission, it will look like this. Obviously there can be less mobs you are fighting or less spots for your followers.
Things to note
Time: 8 hrs (means the missions takes 8 hours)
Type: Primal (means any followers with the Primal trait will have increases chance vs these dudes. You can see Ranger Erdanii on the left, he has the trait, as you can see it popping up)
You can see that the 3 mobs has 1 ability each, mobs can have 2-3. I'm not sure if you will ever face 3 mobs with 2 abilties each, but might be so for 645 ilvl missions (660 rewards!)
To the right of the followers you can see some icons, those are traits (Ranger Erdanii primal thingie for example) and abilties that will counter the mobs in the mission.
You can also see that this is a 615 mission. That means that any follower with less than 615 ilvl will have a small impact. There is a graph on this on the wowhead guide linked above. Mobs at higher ilvl do NOT have a greater impact.
Any follower that won't have any impact will not have their traits and abilties listed next to them, even if they may counter the abilties in theory.

It works like this: You need to meet X(In this example, lvl 100 + 615 ilvl) requirement to have a chance. Then abilties and traits will increase the %.

This is how it looks like when you put followers in the slots, do note this is a different mission (630 ilvl with 645 epic reward)

You can see that meatballs ilvl is colored differently, that is because he is almost 630, but not yet and therefor will have a smaller impact on this mission.
You can see that I counter 2 of the 4 abilties.
I have primal trait.
I also have a horse icon, that is a trait that reduces mission time by 50% (quite handy when lvling a follower, not so much on "serious" missions).

I won

In order to unlock higher ilvl missions, you simply need followers to have that ilvl. It seems to require 3 followers of X ilvl or higher.
Meaning there is no need to upgrade 1 follower to like ilvl 612 as soon as you get 1 armor upgrade or something, it won't change much.
Remember to do as many missions as possible (ye send the retard green 91 follower out on a mission too) for extra crates = more weapons/armor from the salvage yard.

Do note you can only have 20 followers active, so when you hire a 21ist, you need to disable one before you can start more missions.

Find out on the wowhead guide where the followers for your profession etc are located, and make a plan for how to get them while leveling or straight after.
A lot of followers come from some of the more RP heavy quests in every zone, so it might be wise to go back and get them after you ding 100, to avoid the masses. (Thats my plan for the BS guy, for example!)

Easy 100-epic followers to get:
Leeroy - Ress him after you defeat the 2nd boss(UBRS HC), then clear upto the beast before the timer runs out (if not he will Leeroy everything). If so, he will run up there and something happens and you can hire him. Not sure exactly how it works, but it is fairly easy.
If you are able to clear alot of mobs before ressing him, do that, not sure if that works though.
Croman - Talk to him after you defeat the boss on the right in the Ogre mine instance, then he will follow you and you have to simply defeat every boss with him. He will pick up his sword after the 2nd or 3rd boss (can't remember) and after you kill the last boss, you can hire him.
Meatball - Beat him at brawler's guild. You face him at lvl 5. Fairly easy and should be done asap, don't wanna wait in queues! All the fights are the same as before, just changed the order.

There are several easy to get blue/green followers at high level. Do your own research bitch.

If the barn wasn't so important (and ofc crafted items are less RNG than missions), this would be the top priority. So do it well! You should have your dwarven bunker/salvage yard/followers all sorted straight after the barn work orders are rolling in.
1: Level & Barn stuff
2: Follower stuff (Aim to have this rolling by friday evening)
3: Gear (No rush whatsoever)

I probably missed something, so just poke me and i'll add it.

Not exactly sure what "within range" is atm, but I procced a 645 mission with 2 645 and 1 642.
Sum-up: Get 3 followers "within range" of 615 - 630 - 645 proc the missions!
Do note my first rare-raid mission procced as soon as I met the criteria (at least it felt like it).
Same with my ilvl 630 mission.
When my highmaul mission procced, they were all ogres. It does make sense that most of our rare missions in highmaul will be against ogres (however there are other types of mobs in there too, so who knows). But you might wanna try and level up a follower with the Ogre trait if you can, however don't go out of your way leveling some random lvl 92 follower up because of this.

Gearing

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...vl0/edit#gid=0
^Has alot of the drops you can get pre-raiding.
You can get 8 BoEs (if you use off-hands/shield, 7 without). These are ilvl 665
Head - Neck - Shoulders - Cloak - Belt - Ring - Trinket - Shield/Offhand
They all seem to be world drops, but some might be from highmaul bosses, however that is unlikely.

You can craft 3 items (all slots pretty much). As seen above, chest/legs/weps are not included in the BoEs, so those migth be good candidates. These are ilvl 660 (armor/trinkets) and 650 (weapon).

You can probably get some PvP gear somehow (honor gear is 620 or some shit, fairly useless, maybe trinkets are good). The conquest gear is 660, so if we can get that, we will get as many pieces as possible.

You can buy items with Apexis crystals (630, 645 upgraded). These items are sold by a vendor in Ashran, right outside the AH. The 645 version of the items are not available until Highmaul is out, so you need to stack up on the mats and buy them @ raid launch.
You can get Apexis crystals from random mobs/work orders, but your main source of Apexis crystals are the 1k / day from the daily quest @ your main garrison building.
If you buy the cheaper items, you can probably get 2 645 items.

Legendary ring. Do the quest, get a 680 ring. (Need 5k apexis crystals for it btw, aka 5 days of dailies).

World bosses (2 out of the 3) will be available on Highmaul launch, which means you can kill them twice before our first Mythic raid. They drop 650 gear.

You can get 645 / 660 epics from your follower missions! Explained above
There might be some good rewards from the Invasion quests at your garrison, not sure!

Unless we need the gear to clear HC highmaul (old normal), don't craft any items before we've cleared your mains raid. You don't wanna end up replacing a crafted item with something you coined or won. The mats are expensive $$$. You can obviously craft any items that are clearly not gonna be replaced no matter what drops.

You can get a 640 epic from Challenge mode daily chest. Wouldn't recommend spending too much time on this as it probably won't be a high chance, for a random item, that isn't the highest ilvl. If its fast -> why not!

You get coins from a quest in ashran. There are 4 repeatable quests that gives 1 coin each. You can do the same quest 3 times if you want. One requires gold, one required garrison resources, one required honor and one requires apexis crystals. If you do one quest twice, the fee is doubled (from 500g to 1k gold to 2k gold). You don't really wanna spend crystals or resources on this (unless you farmed a bunch of extra resources), so gold or honor is the way to go.
If they allow us to get coins from week 1, you should have 9 coins during heroic week, meaning if you coin all 7 bosses, you will still have 2 + 3 fresh ones = 5 for Mythic.
You might wanna consider coining a normal-mode boss for a weapon or a trinket if you were unlucky.

Free 640 epic helmet from the molten core event! Very useful for alts, however mains can get 665 BoE

Daily/Weekly things to do

Most of these things should be done on all of your char obviously.

Weekly: Coins
Weekly pvp stuff, ashran etc - Need more info

Daily: Apexis crystal quest
Daily: Loot your garrison cache (Can be delayed by a day or two, but it caps at 500 resources, dont waste it)
Daily: Profession craft on all chars
Daily: Fill up work-orders (doesn't have to be EVERY day, but just make sure you don't have any downtime)
Daily: Loot your mine+herb garden for Primal Spirits
Several times a day (if possible): Send followers on missions. They spawn fairly often.

Outside of that, do the obvious things like check AH/BMAH etc.

Legendary Ring Quest Chain

You can find it here, but its pretty simple:

1: Talk to Khazgar in a tower somewhere east in Talador
2: Do Skyreach Heroic
3: Back to Tower; Get 640 Epic Ring
4: Do Grimrail Depot, Slag Mines and Overgrown Outpost on heroic mode. 3 Quests. Can be done in any order.
5: Do Auchindoun Heroic. You also need to get 5000 Apexis Crystals before you can go to step 6.
6: Talk to Khadgar
7: Ring of Trials in Nagrand.
8: Some Retarded "Find Clues" quest.
9: Kill Kairozdormu
10: Go back to Khadgar Tower. Get 680 version of ring.
11: Mar'gok.

Apexis Crystals drop from rare mobs and level 100 mobs in each questing zones level 100 weekly area. You can farm these, so the entire quest chain up to Mar'gok takes 1-2 days depending on how much effort/time you put into farming the shards.

I assume Apexis Crystals work like any other currency; You can't farm it in a raid group. Best way to farm is probably to have a tank and lots of dps and just aoe everything down in the area. Elites seem to give 2, but depending on health they might not be worth aiming for.

680 Ring is pretty good for most classes (For Casters+Agi, it has versatility. rip). You don't need to do a single raid to get it. Just roleplay a bit, do 4 heroics and run around doing some orienteering.

Farming Dungeons 101

Dungeons have your standard "Boss drops an item". It also has a personal loot system at the same time. You need to manually loot the boss to see if you received a bonus item. This item will be able for you to just pick up from the boss, similar to Badges of Justice in TBC.

There are also daily quests for dungeons. If you can get a quest for every dungeon is unlikely, but it'll probably work like "You can get 1 out of 8 quests every day. Whichever quest is random". These quests give a lootbag with a 630 blue item in them (Same quality as heroic dungeon loot).

Important thing to note right now atleast is that several dungeons have items overlapping (You may find the same pair of legs in 2 different dungeons). I don't know if this is because of personal loot or not.

Raid Mission Guide! 655+ Epics

Make sure u've read the other post explaining how the followers + missions work.

These are the 4 setups from the Highmaul Raid mission (I assume that is the only one we can proc). Wowhead didn't list any others, so I doubt there are more different ones.

Feel free to try and work out a good setup (You can bring 6 counters).

This setup will give you a counter to 4 out of 6 spells in EVERY mission. It is probably the safest route. It seems random what mission you get.

This setup will give you 3/6 6/6 2/6 and 5/6 counters to mission 1-4.

These traits are going to be very useful against Highmaul: Ogre, Swamp, Plains and Breaker. There are also some other very good traits, that will help increase your chances! Note blook below, a trait that only belongs to him (can possibly proc on others), and works vs every mission. Make sure you get him and cross your fingers for blue/epic proc.

You don't need to get any specific follower, this is just a list of easily accessable (except a few) followers, that generally have good abilties. It will often come down to luck though.
The dream scenario would be to have 3 epic followers with the 6 counters after a few days. Even if you have to level some of them up from 90(+), it will probably still be worth it.
If that doesn't happen (and it probably won't), you should level whatever feels best, and you will probably proc at least one follower that gets something you'd want for Highmaul.

Remember to gear up 3 followers first, the 4th should add something that you lack / need more of.

There are other followers you can get too of course.

Most importantly, counter the abilties, after that look for good traits!

Before you start raiding Highmaul, you will get a 655 epic from this, as soon as you are raiding X, you will get X+1 higher tier worth of ilvl as reward. Example: Normal raiders get HC item from this.

Я тебе видео линковал епта

http://i.imgur.com/GeCHenR.jpg
