Re: Нажимаю на кнопку Play вылетает ошибка "Can't find SNNL"
Вот что мне ответила тех. поддержка, но я немноговато понял..
Hello none,
Please carefully read through the following help sheet.
We know that you’d like nothing more than to get stuck into TERA and may not fancy reading through a large text but, if you are having problems launching TERA, this help sheet should be able to resolve the issue.
Getting to the root of the problem from afar is difficult since each computer is configured differently in terms of the hardware and software in use. So your first quest is to read the following instructions in order to slay the conflict that is keeping you away from Arborea!
More often than not, the game has not installed itself correctly. This could be due to the download files becoming damaged on their way to you via the internet, or your computer may have recompiled the data incorrectly. Even if it may be time consuming, uninstalling the whole game and starting a brand new download is highly recommendable. You can only uninstall TERA by using the ‘unins000.exe’ file which can be found in the installation path for TERA.
It also sometimes helps when you only erase certain parts of data from the TERA installation files. Once deleted, they will be reloaded the next time you open the launcher and everything should hopefully function normally.
Your quest: Delete the following data from TERA
Installation path: TERA/Client/S1Game/Config/
Erase all files whose names do not start with ‘Default’. This also helps with problems with incorrect interface settings.
Installation path: TERA/
Delete all files which end in ‘.version’
Launch TERA and try to log in. There is a chance that the launcher will not be displayed for up to 10 minutes, but it should then be automatically displayed.
An unsynchronised system clock can also cause problems.
Your quest: Synchronise system time
- Right-click the system clock (bottom right of the screen) and choose ‘Change Date/Time’
- Select the tab ‘Internet Time’ and then ‘Change Settings’
- Select the synchronisation check box and choose ‘time.windows.com’
- Finally, click on ‘Update’
It may also be advisable to clear your DNS cache.
Your quest: To open the mysterious Windows command centre and clear your cache. The quest may sound perilous, but all you need to do is enter ‘CMD’ in the ‘Run’ interface in the Windows start menu or into the search field. This will open a small black window where you can enter the command, ipconfig/flushdns. Press enter to complete the procedure and finish by simply closing the window.
Using proxies can also cause problems, be it the default for your operating system, or the result of using a proxy program.
Your quest: To find and destroy the proxy setting
Since there are many programs which can establish a proxy, we ask you to check whether you’ve ever installed such a program, such as in your browser, or use a tool to surf anonymously on the internet.
You can end this function by doing the following:
- Open Internet Explorer (we’re sorry...)
- Hold Alt+X, select ‘Internet Options’ and then the tab ‘Connections’
- Click on ‘LAN Settings’ and make sure that the field ‘LAN Proxy Servers’ is not selected
- You can then close the browser
You can never have too much security; nevertheless, the security settings used by your browser may have an impact on the launching of TERA.
Your quest: To change your browser security settings.
You should not permanently lower your browser security settings but they can be reduced before launching TERA – at least as low as ‘medium’, or even a level lower. This will allow the TERA launcher to function and to be displayed. When you want to start surfing the net again, simply restore your previous security settings.
Finally, we’d like to request that you check whether there are any programs on your computer which could cause a conflict with the TERA launcher.
Your quest: To start TERA in safe mode
Follow the steps below and then start TERA. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then you can be sure that none of the programs you have installed are causing a conflict.
- Turn off your computer completely, then restart it
- Press F8 while the computer is restarting
- If successful, a screen will appear with 3 options to choose from
- Choose ‘Safe mode with network’ and hit enter
- Try to log into TERA once Windows has reloaded
If, after this, TERA launches without any problems, the error was to do with a program on your computer which caused a conflict with TERA.
You should then be able to isolate the program by starting your computer again normally, opening the Task Manager and disabling processes individually and trying to launch TERA after each attempt. Once the offending process has been disabled, TERA will launch normally and you will have discovered the program that was causing the conflict.
Now your quest has come to an end and we’d like to thank you for taking the time to go through these steps. If, despite trying all methods above, the error remains, please write to us again and we’ll do whatever it takes to get you playing again.
With best regards,
Flederlaus
