I recently bought the Elder Scrolls cookbook and have been preparing to make one of the mead recipes for a long time. However, the instructions say that boiling water should be poured directly into a glass bottle.

A quick Google search will tell you that this always results in bottle cracking. And that's a lot that happened to me. So it's really my fault for not knowing what was going to happen, but it doesn't change the fact that the instructions are wrong.

I sent an email to Bethesda informing them of this issue, but I wanted to share it here just in case. Boil the water, but wait for it to cool down a bit before pouring! https://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/
