Q-What was happening at Cidonia during the Litania incident? (ep1)
A-Litania was isolated for 20 yrs during the Arch Demon wars, so they had limited info on Cidonia, thus thinking Cidonia as Rotten Earth. Arch Demon only invaded Litania due to specific importance it holds. Now that the invasion is over, people are able to travel freely to Cidonia, and players will discover the true evil that threatens the universe as whole.
Q-What is Zirdun Border like?
A-It is the starting location of ep2. To respond Destina's call for help, Ras arrives to Zirdun to enter Cidonia. Once a prospering trade center, is now a wasteland due to the clash between city states. Located in middle of Litania and Cidonia. The region is mixed with tundra and magma.
Q- Explain city state Melzrek and Akin.
A- Crimson flame city Melzrek are once members of the natives called Muah(ethnic group) who had built foundation at south east as city of Sandra who left to west to build Melzrek out of rebelling to the star religion that was founded after comet that fell on northern Litania.Muah is split to 3 tribes. Players are to be swept in their warfare.Akin is mining city state built by nobles who migrated to Cidonia. Akin is military city and is built like a fortress.
Q- who what is luluca
A- Main heroine of ep2. Arrived to Ezera to chase down the one who destroyed her universe from different space. She is a strong woman who overcame the tragedy to find a way to rebuild her home planet somehow.
Q- is it true the animation quality will be better in ep 2?
A- yes. despite the controversy of us ripping off the Guilty Gear assets, we drew each frame by frame with hand, as our original work. in EP 2, we plan to raise the frames of skill animations from 20ps to 30~40ps. We are also going to add backgrounds instead of the usual black background, and make it higher resolution than before.
Q- info on Kawerik, Lilibeth, Straze?
A- Kawerik is still on a quest for revenge, but he feels voidness in his near ending life. He is designed on beeing edgy and dandy, and he used to be in dark attire until we tried to get his dandyness up.Lilibeth uses scissor blade because she is from the family of tailors. If Luluca is the character who lost everything to Straze, Lilibeth is the one who gained reason to live from Straze. Her keyword is the scissor of rage, and we balanced the darkness and cuteness.Straze is the main villain of ep2 from Nekos. He was a paladin who became tainted after slaying the god and destroying the world. He is almighty but trapped to himself and ponders on his legacy. He has no greed of possession so his path is full of emptiness.His keyword is the transcendent, and we designed him to be slim but overwhelming. His chest has the red eyes of Pastus, while other parts of his body are colorless. His cloak hides the space and he draws his demon blade from here.

Q- why no QoL stuff?
A- Auto repeat is as we mentioned at the Taiwan interview. Pet system will be the one that handles auto chest and auto repeat, to be released in 2019. 10 draw was removed on our belief but we are starting to see the need of it. We got rid of the tap button to make it easier to draw for now, but we will consider 10 draw if its needed. (devs were against 10 draw cuz it makes people overspend to fill up to 10 if they have 6~7 draws.)
Q- are you guys going to change ML draws?
A- too late to do anything about it. We do agree that obtaining specific ML char is hard. balance patch on 27th does include ML chars.
Q- based on ep1, game is all about catalyst farming and hunt for gears, which is tiring and not that satisfying. any changes in ep2?
A- From now on, adventure is purely for story and rewards will be one time only. Catalysts will be farmed in new content that replaces the world difficulty. For hunt, we are considering unique gears but theres no solid plans yet.
Q- what about old out dated forgotten chars?
A- some can be used again with just small spec tweaks, but some chars will be remade. Charlotte is one of the example, we feel the need to redesign her due to her weakness before having max focus. But this kind of action brings alot of controversy so we will start with just spec changes.
Q- are skins literally skins or new hero but same character?
A- Both exist. (like granblue fantasy, there will be char variations, and skins. If its like gbf, char can be like azalea fire, azalea light, azalea limited, and azalea summer skin, azalea winter skin, etc.)
Q- End game PVP teams are copy pasted everywhere. Thoughts?
A- Dev team has been finding this problematic. Diene used to have 65% employ rates and we fixed it by releasing several new chars equaling her power then do overall balance patch. We plan to employ same tactic to change the current meta.
Q- if ep2 chars have better animations (40fps and such) will older chars get updated as well?
A- low priority for us. We don't have enough staff to go back and work on every character again.
Q- inventory size, replay, rune drop fixes?
A- increasing inventory size is technologically really hard for us to invent. We plan to take out the enhance charms to consumables so it no longer takes the space in inventory. We also made storage so people can draw seamlessly. We plan to research and develop replay feature so that it can be implemented with the live pvp. For runes, we plan to do altar events but it is hard for us to change the drop rates.
Q- any more global events?
A- Including Guilty Gear collab, updates at feb, april, and may has shown that Korea makes 15% of the revenue, and USA alone makes 40%. so we plan to ask the marketing team to launch a huge project in time for the November anniversary of Glob server. But this is only if the users want and request it, like how Taiwan users wanted conventions to be held.
Q- people accuse that you guys don't communicate, even the Q&A held was very short (5 min apparently.)
A- We were short on time. If we hold more events like this, we wish we can answer more.
Q- any ideas on mass promoting?
A- We do think that the promotion system needs a change, but mass promoting seems to mechanical and we would prefer on removing needless features and make it more fun instead. We really don't find the auto mass promoting to be a good idea.
Q- People find boss fights unfair due to tons of debuff immunities, especially making CC skills useless.
A- we can't do much about existing content but for the future bosses, we plan to make bosses react differently, such as only immune to sleep or stun and not both to open up choices and raise the value of debuffers.
Q- Luluca 3s animation shoots water upwards then hits enemy from the side. Isn't this an error?
A- Don't expect realism if possible. They are the ultimate skills of characters, and we aim to bring out the characteristics than practicality.
Q- roadmap to clear things up?
A- 13th, ep2 chapter 1 and 2, removal of world difficulty and adding its replacement at side story section. 27th, automaton tower (available starting july 1st due to reset system), alchemist room, accessory crafting, major balance patch, and lastly story archive (may be delayed to july 11th to ensure other contents are done by 27th)
