человек который долго медитировал над видео и рассказами участников (несколько фанов пригласили в АНет и они проходили данж в Катакомбах Аскалона) написал вот что:
Blackout: A close-range spell which Dazes the enemy, disabling skills for a short time.
Notes: Players reported enemy mesmers using Blackout frequently. The animation and touch-range resembles Blackout from Guild Wars. The description of the enemy mesmer says “Dazes”. There is still some confusion over daze, stun and blackout terminology.
Chaos Storm: A ground-targeted, area-of-effect spell, dealing damage over time. It can also inflict Blind, Chilled and Vulnerability upon foes.
Notes: Based on Chaos Storm, the Guild Wars mesmer’s only DoT AoE skill. Resembles the skill icon. Damage coincides with conditions on the POV player; Blind, Blind again (while another player gets Vulnerability), then Chilled + Vulnerability at the same time. Champion Vassar is based on the mesmer skill trainer Vassar, who grants players Chaos Storm.
Conjure Phantasm: A temporary minion which moves around the battlefield and attacks foes. Multiple copies can be present (up to 3 witnessed).
Notes: Resembles the skill icon from Guild Wars. With hexes gone, any mesmer damage-over-time needs to be visual. The exact effect of these phantasms is unknown. Also take note of the butterflies, matching “Purple Fan Lady” concept art and the Soothing Images skill from Guild Wars.
Reflecting Shield: A bubble surrounds the mesmer, reflecting projectiles, including spells, back to the source.
Notes: Mesmers are described as “reflecting projectiles”. Similar to the elementalists’ Energy Shield, with slightly different animation, and different skill effect. Could also be called Empathy or Distortion. When Champion Vassar uses it, it seems most projectiles still hits, possibly based on chance or a variation of the Shield skill.
