Update Notes for 0.7
TEST GOALS
The main goals of this phase of the Beta are:
* Testing the new content, including Seoul and the Dragon new-player experience, Transylvania, and The Darkness War dungeon
* Testing the new weapons and associated abilities
* Player-versus-player combat in the Stonehenge and El Dorado battlefields
* Testing crafting
NEW!
New to this Beta:
* One new dungeon has been added to the game: The Darkness War (featuring Vikings vs Mayans!) which is accessible from the Blue Mountain playfield
* You may now create a Dragon character and play through the new player experience in Seoul! (Story mission stops when you reach Kingsmouth)
* We have also opened up Transylvania, and you can now visit two out of the three playfields that will be part of this adventure zone at launch: The Besieged Farmlands, and The Shadowy Forest
* New abilities available for training in the skill wheel :
-Hammer (Inner & Outer)
-Fist Weapons (Inner & Outer)
-Shotgun (Inner & Outer)
-Assault Rifle (Inner & Outer)
-Chaos (Inner & Outer)
-Elementalism (Inner & Outer)
-Blood (Inner only)
-Pistols (Inner only)
-Blade (Inner only)
* Crafting is now ready for testing!
* Lore - Filth Lore is available for testing. More Lore will be added in future updates!
* Achievements - Exploration. Hubs, Solomon Island, Egypt. More to be added in future updates!
* Achievements - Missions (for a limited number of missions)
* Itemization - Weapon and clothing vendors have been added.
* The PvP Battlefields El Dorado and Stonehenge are open! Press CTRL-space in game to access the signup GUI
GENERAL
* Your screen should no longer look blurry after exiting a cinematic
* The issue with seeing black square textures during combat and other visual effects has been fixed
* It should now be a bit easier than in the previous Beta phase to click on mission items
* Players should be able to zone to Kingsmouth from The Blue Mountain playfield again
* You should no longer be 'stuck' for a few seconds when traveling from Savage Coast to Blue Mountain
* Music and audio should no longer stop playing randomly during combat
* Fixed an issue where the camera would appear "jittery" when walking forwards and mouse turning
* When following another character, attempting to look around via mouse buttons will no longer make the camera spin
* The /ignore function should now work properly
* You will no longer walk underwater
* You can no longer use /stuck while casting
* Fixed an issue with clothing on characters from Beta 0.5.1
* Fixed several identified crashes
ANIMA FORM
* Using a reward bag while in anima form will now spawn the items
* You are no longer able to access a mission reward GUI or send mission reports while in anima form
CINEMATICS
* Using Thor's Hammer ability near someone watching a cinematic will no longer cause their screen to shake because of your spell
CLIENT
* Players in the vicinity should no longer have a drop in framerate when another player gets stuck on something
* The game will correctly wipe any old ClientLog*.txt files (except the latest 10) on startup now
* The Secret World music should no longer start playing during the introductory EA/Funcom movies
* Changing from windowed mode to fullscreen from within the game will no longer crash your client.
* Selecting DX11 on the launcher should always apply your desired Dx11 settings
* Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when your character was in an area with heavy use of particle effects
* Windowed mode/ATI users should no longer experience flickering GUI
* The patcher should now be localized if you select another language
* Fixed a bug making it impossible to log in after typing a wrong password once
COMBAT
* Corrected many abilities to ensure they were working as intended
* Adjusted the descriptions of many combat abilities to better reflect their use
* Dash abilities can no longer be triggered while jumping or falling
* Fixed an issue where while sheathing a weapon and starting to fire it would cause you to attack with empty hands and the weapon on your back
* Environmental DoTs should no longer persist through death
* Fixed an issue where some ground targeted spells had an impact delay
* You can no longer swap weapons from one slot to another without unequipping them first
* Fixed an issue where some spells set to apply on defensive targets would be cast to offensive targets.
* AoE abilities will now be queued properly
* AoE abilities now affect destructibles
* Dash abilities will no longer put your character through objects
* Heals and leeches will only effect defensive targets within 40 meters now
Hammers
* Crushing Leap should no longer be usable outside the intended 3m to 15m range
* Hammer animations are no longer interrupted by movement
* Adjustments made to hammer abilities Molten Hammer, Body Breaker, and Haymaker
DUNGEONS
* Dungeon missions should now always update on dead (non released) players when the last dungeon boss dies
The Ankh
* The encounter should no longer fail to reset if you die while Dr. Klein is still on the lower level
* Fixed an issue causing your group to become stuck within the circle on the resurrection pad in The Ankh
Hell Fallen
* Fixed an issue with the Executrix encounter not triggering correctly
* Corrected an issue where the Jinn NPCs would reset during combat
* Multiple Engine Tyrant Primes should no longer spawn if you die during the encounter
GROUPS
* Fixed an issue where team members would get different XP values for the same kill
* Your group and group's health bars should now always update correctly when a member disconnects and returns to the group
* Fixed an issue where group invites would sometimes not appear correctly
* Logging in with a new character should no longer show your old group GUI onscreen from your previously logged in character
GUI
* Name-tags should no longer be visible through walls
* The Send Report button should no longer appear overlapping mission text if you refuse to collect the reward
* The in-game browser window is back, and you should see mission surveys once more
* The in-game browser window will no longer be stuck onscreen once opened
* Double clicking to use items in your inventory should be possible once more
* Fixed an issue which could cause your pointer to disappear if you were mouse-looking when a confirmation box popped up
* Shift-left clicking on an item in your inventory will now bring up the stack split function
* You can no longer click through the character points GUI
* Using CTRL-X should no longer cause crashes
* Quest sharing now prints detailed error messages when the sharing is unsuccessful
* Walking through the New York sewers should no longer spam you with a message about the area.

MISSIONS
General
* You can now have up to 3 active item missions at one time
* Players can no longer pick up new missions when their outstanding reports active missions count is more than 9
* Fixed several missions that did not grant group credit for certain steps. Please continue to make us aware of any issues with your entire group getting credit for a mission goal!
Story - Dawning of an Endless Night
* If you leave basement during tier 9 Defeat the Guardian when you reenter the instance should behave properly
* Possessed Familiar NPCs should no longer warp during tier 15
Templar
* What Corpses Know - You should no longer be able to spawn the wraith before the intended tier
City of the Sun God
* The Corrupted General - Mission should now be available from Thutmose
* Bad Orochi, Bad - Players should no longer be permanently knocked down by the drones
* Mummy Issues - Corrected issues with Statue of Rib-Hadda NPC
Kingsmouth
* The Collection - Made the hymn sign more visible
* Elm Street Blues - You should no longer have to wait minutes for zombies to spawn during this mission
* Floater - If you die while escorting the drone, the drone will reset
* Neither Snow nor Rain nor Zombies - Player can now interact with the mailbox during tier 2 again
* They Never Stop Coming - The Cult leader should respawn if you die while fighting him, by relighting the fires
* The Raven - The Revenant should now reset properly
The Blue Mountain
* Scavenger Run - Pausing then resuming the mission during tier 1 will no longer block progression
* Maine Chainsaw Massacre - Corrected some issues with multiple chainsaws, and "hostile ability" messages when using the chainsaw
Savage Coast
* A Reasonable Man - Players should now be able to exit telescope view. Flares should work properly now
* The Black House - Group credit should now be given for completing tier 3
* Chaotic Vibrations - The hellrifts should work once again for tier 1
* Science and the Arts - Only one set of Unchained Hellspawn and Infernal Dowry NPC should spawn
* The Strange Boat House in the Mist - All four IDs should now drop from NPCs
* The Rec Center Cannot Hold - The Flesh Clump should no longer fail to turn hostile or reset/disappear randomly
* The Player, not the Piece - Corrected an issue where a stone was usable outside the intended tier
Scorched Desert
* Collision outside the door should no longer prevent advancing the mission Black Sun, Red Sand - Tier 2
* Old Gods, New Tricks - Mission should be able to be turned in to the faction liaison now
* Modern Archaeology - It should now be possible to complete tier 1
* Biology 101 - The organism XA-044 should be at its waypoint now
Tokyo
* The shotgun can no longer be intentionally or accidentally deleted
* You should no longer see 'Sarah's' face or clothing overlapping your character's own face or clothing during the cinematic. You should only see your character as 'Sarah' or your own chosen character model at any given time
NPCs
* Draugs will no longer gather in large numbers on beaches and overlap each other by standing in the same place idle
* NPCs should no longer slide towards you while spawning
* NPCs who patrol should no longer speed up during parts of their patrol
WORLD DESIGN
* Plugged many holes, fixed a large number of textures, and adjusted collision worldwide!
* All phone books in Kingsmouth have been moved into their proper locations
* Kingsmouth - You should no longer be able to get stuck behind the Mining Museum
* Kingsmouth - You should no longer get stuck on crates in the Horror Show basement.
