Q5: How do I unlock and recruit new Units?
A: After unlocking the Front Corps and your General has reached the required level, you can spend Honor points to unlock the new Units. Some high-level Epic Units will also require special items to unlock. Once you have unlocked a Unit, you will still need to have sufficient levels of equipment, weapons, and reserve soldiers to build the legion. Training cavalry units require horses (some high-level cavalry need to be harnessed as well). For example, if you want to build a 36-man Swiss Halberd unit, you need to acquire 36 Swiss Halberds, 36 uniforms, and 36 reserve soldiers. Unit armor and weapons can be purchased from merchants outside of Valhalla. Reserve legion can be recruited outside of Valhalla and in other cities.
Q6: Why did I lose soldiers after a battle?
A: After losing a battle on the world map, a small portion of your soldiers may actually die. You can replenish your lost soldiers by recruiting more from cities, or by healing injured soldiers in medical tents and cities. No soldiers will be lost in matching PvP mode.
Q7: How do I get equipment?
A: Valhalla has merchants who can sell basic (white) equipment. More sophisticated equipment normally needs to be crafted. You need blueprints and materials to craft an equipment. Basic blueprints can be purchased in shops. Higher-tier blueprints can be found as in-game rewards. Basic materials can be purchased in shops. Rarer materials must be collected from resource spots on the world map, and processed in factories first. Once you have acquired an equipment blueprint and the required materials, go to the World Map, enter a city, and then visit the Production Manager that will make the desired equipment. You can craft only in the city that belongs to your Kingdom.
